Default Next seasons leagues - Feedback needed

hi all

although I'm going to need to make some decisions soon to be able to organise all the leagues - new hosts for US Open league (with the mix of freerolls & buy-ins) + the between the season games + adding in the new Full Tilt & PokerStars league

a few things have come up from trying to establish good slots for the new FullTilt & PokerStars Buy-in League

ie. at a time especially and a day(s) when both US and Non US members can play - this seems to boil down to playing them at a mid time or on Saturday or Sunday when we havent got so many issues of time difference as people are not generally at work

ok so this is just a suggestion - so it might be a bad on but ...

currently we have two leagues (US Open & Non US leagues) at different times (one later & one earlier) on Thursdays (for the freerolls) and Sundays (for the buy-ins) but essentially
these leagues (although the US Open is open to all) are timed for US for one and European for the other

having a middle time eg. 5pm EST (10pm GMT) makes weekdays a bit tricky for US as this isnt really do-able

One possibility is to move the days of the US Open and Non US leagues (ie. to Tuesdays for freerolls & Thursdays for buy-ins) and then this free's up Sundays

Sunday could then be used for the Full Tilt & PokerStars league with games at an earlier 3pm EST and later time 7pm EST on Sundays (alternating the two sites between weeks ie Saturday FullTilt & Sunday PokerStars one week and vice versa the following week)

or

we could have a middle time (eg. 5pm EST) and run the games on both Saturday & Sunday (again alternating week by week)

or

we could leave the current leagues on Thursdays and Sundays and sandwich the FTP & Stars league games in at 5pm EST on Thursdays and Sundays

so here is the question ...

Would a move to Tuesdays for the existing US Open & Non US league freerolls & a move to Thursdays for the existing US Open & Non US leagues work ?

IF SO

then do we do Saturday & Sunday 5pm EST games for the new FullTilt & PokerStars League

or do Sunday only with two games at 3pm EST & 7pm EST for the new full tilt / pokerstars league ?

let me know below & vote in poll (multiple options available)

cheers scrawnybob

Thumbs up

TOPS

Hard to please everyone.

I think the flagship deserves the top spot on a Sunday night and alternating the times is fair for both time zones.

Freerollers can play anytime. They'e 'die hards'.

Default scrawnybob's favoured solution

hi all

I know this is a bit of a complicated poll and thread (possibly needs multiple votes to give a clear picture of what you all want)

guess I should put in my favoured approach (with a rambling reasoning too)

I would favour moving the US Open and Non US leagues from Thursday (freerolls) & Sunday (buy-ins) to Tuesday (freerolls) & Thursday (buy-ins)

and then have the new Full Tilt & PokerStars leagues on Sundays at 3pm EST & 7pm EST
(alternating each week so FullTilt 3pm one week and then 7pm the next)

to vote for the above you need to vote for both choice 1 & choice 3

Tuesdays are not the best day for me to do admin (and in fairness I will probably tighten up on sending individual passwords out for the freerolls anyway) ...

but addition of Tuesday's is alot better for me that Saturdays or having admin on 4 days a week (Thursdays & Sundays + Tuesdays and Saturdays)

It also means the weeks league passwords can be sent out in one PM close to the start of the freerolls but giving those into the buy-ins time to register etc

I know some have said they struggle with so many Sunday games already so maybe having the 3pm EST and 7pm EST slot means they could make one of them

Also I have an other half, nipper & dog to think about and Friday & Saturdays tend to be our days "off" too

I think having the big sites on the Sunday gives everyone a chance to play one or both games and also keeps the other leagues in good shape too

cheers scrawnybob

I voted that the FTP and Stars games must be 17:00 EST so that I can always play them as 19:00 EST for me it's 3 am. Thanks.

Default don't deposit there

I don't deposit on these sites so i won't play the freerolls here when i get active, as i won't be playing the buy-ins i don't want to be classed as sponging lol.

Will there be league games on Titan or any other site apart from these two, if the details are already in the forum somewhere, just tell me to shut me gob and go find them lol.
