ONLY If you have placed or won money in our freeroll's you need to "claim your screen-name"

Then we can then contact the host poker room for them to deal with these cheap skates who are crashing private freerolls and games like ours, stealing money they have no right to and most irritatlingly messing up our league points for the good members

any unclaimed usernames not claimed by members will run the risk of investigation and may be dealt with by the host poker rooms accordingly ... this may mean offending accounts could be frozen and money confiscated.

This has put a bit of a damper on what was a good game to know we have a disloyal member here on sharing our passwords.Bad enough in our freerolls but our buy ins as well.Tut tut.

the issues are being resolved - OFF LIST

ok so for the moment can members refrain from adding to things on the forum - if anyone wants to vent or add thoughts etc - for the moment please do this via direct PM to me

I can understand members mights want to say their piece - but for the moment considering all the variables / why's / wherefor's etc if this - it wouldnt be helpful

as I've said before with other password / prize / non member (becoming member) issues the ones that put themselves in the line of fire after the event are easy targets - the ones that dont aren't ... that's not to say that I'm not happy with it or that I'm not going to let people get away with not following our rules or playing when they shouldnt

but there are better ways to resolve this possibly if they choose to take them - if not then obviously my options are limited to less pleasant (for them) solutions

lets leave it at that for the moment and not inflame things to the point that an easier / better solution no longer bocomes a viable option

hi all

ok - so this isnt an ideal solution as I havent as yet found the offending member who gave out the password

but the offending non member / last minute member with insufficent posts at time of playing have been banned - I will be pursuing other options in the light of their lack of co-operation and in the future I am not going to even hesitate on reporting anyone abusing our passwords / playing when not a member etc to the poker rooms

also please note (and I'm not naming names) but the well intentioned suggestions of who the offending password sharer was ... were WRONG

so for those of you who may or may not know who it was thought to be - IT WASNT

thanks to those members involved for discussing all this OFF the forum as this has avoided unneccessary problems of openly calling out an innocent member

please bear in mind how easy it is to make a simple mistake like this although with good intentions ... I'm not unhappy with any of those people but I'm grateful that in difficult circumstances it was able to be dealt with off the forum

for the purposes of the forum this matter is closed

ps. this makes claiming your name all the more important - and for those that have shared passwords - we are no longer going softly softly on password sharing

BTW just because people (who shouldnt be playing) have paid the buy-in this DOES NOT entitle them to some kind of moral high ground - our games are private for members with 10+ posts only the fact that these were buy-in games makes no difference whatsoever
