A section for Poker Items for Sale/Trade

Great forum.
I'd like to see a section where members could post poker related items for sale or trade. For instance I have a great Poker Chip Tricks DVD for sale. I closed my website and have about twenty left which I'm selling on Ebay. Other members might have books/tapes which they would like to trade. Some might trade poker chips, etc. The section would be a clearinghouse which would serve 4kingpoker.com members.
The section could be headlined as POKER ITEMS FOR SALE/TRADE. I see it on some other forums.
Please consider it.

I'm looking to buy a poker table. I havn't got too much to spend so i guess i'll be looking in the second hand market so i guess this would be a good idea.

it's an ok idea but i really dont see it happening here....with something like that you would run into the same problems that u have if u have a "staking" thread

Yeah things happen where a member buys something from another member then something goes bad in the deal and they blame the admin of the site which obviously has nothing to do with the deal. I have seen this before. You are better of basically making this thread like you did and letting people post if they are interested.

Nothing personal citytom but the bottom line with me is, Unless i know you really well, No sale. I have heard of people buying stuff online and it turns out to be a bad deal for all involved. Good Luck!!

I kind of agree - the trouble is the scammers + people joining just to post up 8 million ebay items + the people who would see it as an invitation for their commerical sites would spoil it for the few genuine members trying to make a fair sale etc

I'm not being negative - and always good to get members ideas

but unfortunately poker forums are like magnets to the less desirables - we keep on top of most of the spammers (big thanks to all those who send me the report thead messages)

but this woudl be like the staking and trading posts - someone is going to end up getting fleeced and I dont want it to be you or any of our other great members

ebay is probably your best bet

there is a possible other idea I have that has sprung from your suggestion but give me some time to think on it and figure if we could make something quite cool work
