Regarding our Freerolls........

There is such an obnoxious amount of sitters in todays game at FTP. I think that maybe the password should be released an hour or 2 before the start of these things so that would cut down on the sitters.

Also there are so many people there that I have never even seen from this forum and they obviously got the PW from someone else (a member here).........

I did not see 1 person I knew at the tournament.

I bunch of random ftp players.

I checked a bunch of thier tournaments, and they were all registered for multiple freerolls.

I didn't write down the info....but it helps to prove we have a pw thief somewhere?

If anyone knows the pw thief sites they should check them for our passwords......

Maybe we could figure this out.

Agreed that was ridic. I saw only one member I knew. Of course I left on a busted nut flush.

I do not however know the pw stealing websites sooo i'm gonna leave that up to someone else.

Im a member at a few other forums and they release the PW 1 hour before game time. Thats a good idea to stop this crap........

I've had a look at the usual password posting sites - and they havent posted the password

we have roughly 1000 members who are eligible for the passwords ...

so theoretically we could have 1000 legitimate members playing in the games

also from the amount of members who have previously scored in the league but dont let us know their screen names until late on in the season or just play the games and dont post regularly ... its very possible alot more legitimate members play than the regulars realise

that said we have unfortunately got disrespectful members who give out the passwords

as I have said before alot of the time they are NOT the obvious 10 borderline posters (as everyone would like to think) ... they have in the past turned out to be "good" members who post sufficently to not attract attention

so its not that easy to draw conclusions of how many "unknowns" are legit members we just dont know that well and those who are NOT meant to be in the games

just a subtle reminder as its a new season PLEASE DO NOT go down the road we have had in previous seasons where the forum turns nasty on new members / unknown members / poor posters etc ... only for me to have to smooth waters that were wrongly troubled ... if there are issues or specifics with members ... bring them up with me OFF the forum via PM where I can deal with them with a little more diplomacy that we've had in the past (and got egg on faces)

Full Tilt v PokerStars League II

so this time is a 50/50 mix of freerolls and buy-ins the same as the other leagues

I appreciate that this maybe a pain for some members ... but to be honest the FullTilt & PokerStars games whatever format they take are catering for the majority of members who are existing players at these sites either as freerollers or real money players ... so the freerolls are something or a necessary "evil" in the hope that it will encourage more activity in the forum generally (obviously the really poor posting will be dealt with)

but the easiest way to all the answers on tournaments is on our

poker tournaments page (and links out from there)

on the password sharing / posting site front - I welcome any pointers from members VIA PM on this - so I can deal with it as much as possible

but please lets not take this down a negative road ;-)
