TEAM WINNERS - season I winners games

hi all

OK so I know this has dragged on for ages with the results for teams in the previous Non US, US Open & FTvPS leagues ...

so this is my hopefully fair decisions in terms of awarding a game to each of the winning teams in the 3 leagues that had team scoring last season (allowing for ties etc)

US Open ... winners D'Evil Team (original lineup) ... $50 added game of choice at FT

Non US ... winners Warriors Team (original lineup) ... $50 added game of choice at FT

FTvPS ... winners Team Elite (original lineup) ... $50 added game of choice at FT

now here comes the tricky bit ...

I will (as originally promised) put up a $50 added game for each of the winning teams for their original team members ... these games will be at Full Tilt (as this is the easiest to get sorted asap and probably the site most members play at)

I'll fix it up for whenever suits each team best and also whatever format suits that team best ... so for example you can have a $50 freeroll or a $10 buy-in with $50 added or any variation your team agrees on / leader feels is best

SO ... if the orginal team leaders can get back to me via PM or post in this thread (ideally post in this thread just to let me know you've seen it) and I will get the games setup for you when and what format you prefer asap

also you'll need to let me know in terms of getting the password out to members who are eligible.

these are the last results i saw for the leagues.....notice the tie for the US open

mt first question is who is gonna be the voice of the warriors since their former leader is no longer with us???......lol

secondly...i havent discussed this with the rest of my old team as of yet....but some of them voiced their opinions about this sort of thing to me b4....since these tournies are supposed to be a prize for winning the league.......a buy in tourny with $50 added to me really isnt a "prize" at all...i mean the TPT final was ok there were a few added extras you could get for winning....but a straight up buy in with $50 added isnt really a prize..expecially if the buy in is $10.....thats just crazy

in terms of the scores ... yes there is a tie on US Open between Elite & D'Evil ... if its suits better then we can have a joint game between the two teams for that one

in terms of the Warriors I didnt want to penalise the rest of the team for the issue with thier team leader

I'm basically just trying to get a fair decision on it that everyone is happy with ... so I can get it organised and done ... before everyone then starts thinking I dont deliver the goods as promised or we all forget about it for so long that the games end up not getting played

the $150 for 3 games is on one side ... but I want to get it allocated and orgnised as soon as possible so everyone gets the winning games they should have

its difficult to get a concensus - as I know as soon as I decide something those that havent said anything will then moan ... so better to make a decision and then wait for the other suggestions ... then adjust as approapriate and then get you all those games

keep the suggestions / solutions coming KJ et al ... I do really need them

Maybe the PW. could be giving to team leaders of team Elite and team D'Evil and they could send PM to members of the two teams in TPT Season#1 Just a suggestion. Wow i didn't see this coming.

Since our team leader is no longer, may I voice my opinions?

First of all, I think every member of the winning teams (59) should get recognition for their accomplishments (ie winners of each league).

Secondly, as much as I would like to compete against members of the other teams, this could only be done on an INDIVIDUAL basis by combining the three leagues for a $150 freeroll or a $1 tourney with $150 added - it couldn't be done when combining scores on a TEAM basis because each team would probably not have the same number of entries, which would make it unfair.

Thirdly Bob, and I won't suggest these if it means too much work on your part
- obtain the names of all 59 players eligible and send them a PM (or maybe just start a new thread) asking for a poll.
a) if they want a freeroll or a buyin ($1) with added money
b) if they want separate tourneys or a combination of the 3 leagues in a single tourney(see my second point)
c) give them a time limit to answer the poll via PM (or in the same thread)
d) set up the tourney(s) according to the poll
e) send PM's only to the 59 eligible players with the results and password(s)

Lastly, if anyone other the 59 members eligible somehow gets into the tourney(s), if possible they should be disqualified and any money won returned to the pool - if a buyin tourney is selected this would mean more money in the pool.

I know I'm not a team leader, Just my 2cents. If this tourney is a minimal buy-in instead of a FR. It will virtually eliminate the possibility of anyone getting into the tourney that don't deserve to be there. Maybe if it could be done, There could be a list of the players user names on the poker site, Like a reservation list. Simply put, If you try to use the PW. and not on the list they don't get to be in the tourney. Anyway. Thanks a bunch for this scrawnybob!!!

I talked with my team mates and $2 or $3 buy-in is ok for D'Evil.
Could be next weekend (25/oct or 26/oct) or the next one (1/nov or 2/nov).

Just a suggestion, Since Sundays have 3 tourneys already TPT & Pstars/FTP League play. Saturday might be better day as it is a less busy day. I think there is only one Forum tourney on Saturday.

we need to get this sorted asap - so here is the proposal

I will put up a total of $200 for games


$100 for Elite (tied US open and winners FTvPS)

$50 for D'Evil (tied US Open)

$50 for Warriors (Non US)

now this is down to the leaders of each of the old teams - warriors needs to sub one - ennotserp you up for that ?

ok so basically its the team leaders decision - let me know what game, format and date you want at FullTilt and I will fix it up ... and send the team leaders the passwords

then its up to you WHO you send it to ... obviously you should send it to your original team mates ... but the admin on that is down to the team leaders

let me know if this is ok - send me the details and I will get it fixed

also if you want to chat with the other team leaders and band together for a bigger game etc and invite both or all teams etc then thats cool to

lets just get this organised and played asap
