UPDATED for 15th June 2010 onwards
hi all
The new league season starts mid / late August 2010
there are a couple of important changes ...
team will now be 4 max teams
ALL our leagues will be separately scored as both team leagues and also individual leagues
At least 30 places will be scored in all of the games in each league (both team & individual points)
You can request to join ONE team for ALL leagues from the list here ...
4kingpoker Teams
This is the ONE team you must stay in for playing in both leagues.
Please note: Team have a maximum of
4 members so make sure you request to join a team that isnt full already.
You can also find the teams under the
"community" tab green strip near the top of the forum (by Calendar / New Posts etc)
choose one of the teams (with 3 members or less - teams are 4 max) - then go to the bottom of their page and hit the "request" to join link - the captain of the team should then approve or reject your request to join their team
Passwords will be posted in the locked password section of the main forum (as these games will also be open to individuals who are not in teams).
Team Rules & Guidelines
1) Members may join ONE team only (this is the same for ALL leagues)
2) Members must have 10+ decent posts to join a team
3) Once you're on a team you are part of that team for the rest of the current season. (usually a season is between 8-12 weeks)
3i) Any issues with inactive players must be brought up via PM with scrawnybob for a decision
BEFORE ANY player is moved or dropped
IF a long term inactive player (not scored) has been allowed to be dropped ... in this event that player cannot be moved to another team and NO player already in a team can be brought in ... basically PM scrawnybob before dropping players during a live season period.
4) Team-playing is NOT allowed in the sense of ... MSN, soft play, collusion, collective (or individual) abusive chat etc ... basically you should all use common sense and get with the spirit of fair and sportman like conduct etc ... leagues are also played on an individual basis so cheating / team play is NOT how our team scoring is intended to be played.
SETTING UP A TEAM
If you want to setup a team this is fine - members must obviously have 10+ posts but also please (private message) PM me "scrawnybob" BEFORE setting up a team if you are a new member or not a well known member ... just so I can help you and check you are ok with managing a team and help you out where you might want some help
cheers scrawnybob
