Captains ONLY thread

hi Captains

good to see things shaping up - and also that more captains are getting involved and more competitive about their teams etc

this thread is just to flag up any issues or points of discussion for captains ...

1) I have been asked to join the "team UK" as an active playing member - originally 3 seasons ago I said at the time of starting the team only league it wasnt a good idea for me to be active - but now we are established I think it could add additional target practice (and easy money) if I join in - if there are any objections to me being active in a team - please PM me
otherwise I will take up the offer ;-)

2) Please DO NOT delete old threads in your private team area. It plays havoc with the sites SEO if pages are no longer there etc - they shouldnt be indexed anyway - but I would rather all threads stay up - start new threads for new season or new topics is fine

deleting single posts / threads that dont gain any momentum is fine - just not ones with 10's of posts

also DONT post in OR delete ANY of the password threads I put up - its really easy for me to miss a team when I'm posting the weeks passwords - if there are additional non password posts in these threads it throws the post count out and can lead to (me) making mistakes ;-)

3) please IF your deleting inactive members (only allowed between seasons) - be sure to PM those members you are removing so they could join another team. I dont want to find a load of less active team players suddenly without a team without them realising.

4) please note that if you are in a team that I am currently "caretaker managing" I have sent reqests for a member of those teams to take over the captains position - this is to make things a bit clearer and also so that teams have a better identity ... however if teams appear to be totally inactive through this season then they will be deleted and those team members will have to get in a new team for season V - Ideally I would really like ANY active members in those teams to let me know they is infact some life in those teams ;-)

Thank yiou Bob and all the team captains for a fun game yesterday. Congrats to those of us who made it to the money! I was down to my last .33 at Full Tilt so the $10 for 3rd place will come in handy.
