TEAM PLAY - No Soft Play allowed ruling

Impossible to enforce.Unless its an obvious chip dump.!! Lets say for example if one of your Team-Mates at the table is short stacked and raises ALL IN and you look down at your hand and see you have Pocket QQ,s for example.Do you Call your Team-mate with your QQ,s or quietly fold them ? Maybe you feel your Team-mate has AA,KK or Ace-King and you don,t want to call.Either way if you fold no-one see,s your QQ,s and can accuse you of soft play. !!
No-one wants to take out one of there own Team Mates.You rarely see 2 Team-mates go ALL IN heads-up in the same hand.I see no problem with Team-Mates soft playing anyway.Isn,t the whole idea behind Team Play to help your Team Mates last as long they can and thus accumulate more points for the team.?
So why not just say there are NO rules regarding Team Play and there won,t be any need for controversy. ??

Really rg? We (Disturbed, Inc.) have taken out each other as much as anyone else. I've been taken out by my team numerous times, had my bb raised when I was ss, etc--and I've taken them out.

I also didn't realize there was any controversy. Was just surprised that you expected him to fold to your bb.

You're right, it's hard to enforce. Just have to take the leap of faith that players are following the rules.

if you fold QQ to anyone your a donk. im not a bloody liar, just not a donk. i play to win, that helps my team, not chipping up a teammate who has already gotten their self in trouble. you are right, nobody wants to take out a teammate but this is poker sometimes you have to.

I only play to take out my team mates. I know them all and it brings great satisfaction to donk their asses. Just ask Tbd or Spowers, I've taken them out with a smile
There has been a week at carbon when we were 5 or 6 of us at the same table. I don't think anyone can say anything about us soft playing so I expect you to do (and think) the same!

There is no controversy.I just didn,t even know there were any rules Posted regarding the subject.I haven,t heard any talk on the issue.I was just tossing a What if scenario out there for discussion.

I have seen suspicious play at the tables... but I've also seen a lot of teams take each other out. I have def seen Disturbed take each other out... lmao. Cuz they play ATC poker. jk.

But yeah I have the same policy. The blinds don't mess around in the team game. If you are on my team and you want the pot... you better play for it. I need that pot. So I'm glad to know you're folding queens, but we are NOT.

And absolutely do not revoke the rules. Honor system is better than you may think RG. I wouldn't be interest in playin the league without it.

buncha bull. the team games here at 4K are the cleanest I know of. Us Rounders take each other out all the time. and like someone said, if I got QQ i'm gonna play it. don't care if u on my team or not. Us Rounders have NEVER IM'ed each other in any game. we meet and greet later and laugh and enjoy poker.
