4) Team-playing is NOT allowed in the sense of ... MSN, soft play, collusion, collective (or individual) abusive chat etc ... basically you should all use common sense and get with the spirit of fair and sportman like conduct etc ... leagues are also played on an individual basis so cheating / team play is NOT how our team scoring is intended to be played

I would assume a rule is a rule, which from my view they are broken every week.

I've been at a table with 3 team members all in a ducks row, oddly enough I believe all that folding got me my best finish. I could have played KTsooted with position but why? It is a league event.

P2P, I can honestly say I don't use them while playing, Jan types waaaaaaaay to much stinky farts to use them, and so does rgchan (the typing, he lets out the odd fart too, man what does your women feed you... uh the other player on our team, I dunno even if he has a keyboard, he is a mute.

Are there people who live together (husband and wife) who play the odd hand for another? Yes that happens, at least one had admitted to it while the game was playing. Is that 'against the rules', technically yes...

Team league games are always going to have some soft play, or 'rules' broken when everyone is tossed onto the table with out organization. I have actually thought of a format to combat these issues, unfortunately it would require a dedicated league administration (10 times the work SB is currently doing) thus why I had not suggested it.

If teams feel they need the to win the league by cheating, it is what $5-$10? karma is a bitch and personally I wouldn't sell my soul for it. Taping out for a few points every week is negative expected value if you never cash.

I'm sure Jan and rgchan have seen me make moves on them that have them asking if i am on their team, sure I am when we tally up the points at the end of the night. That is how everyone should look at it.

First of all I don,t Fart at the table.lol The 70% guy was funny with his theory.Bet any 2 overs on the Turn. lol And that is a cut throat Team Petey. !! They put a Bounty on me and I was on their team.
No ,, everyone knows the rules haven,t changed.There was alot talk last season and Bob put out a Newer Post to re-enforce the Rules and regulations.
I haven,t seen anything in my travels ??

HMMMM sounds like the TUMBLEWEEDS are the cleanest draws in town. COme on boys (and girls) jack those bets up against your teamies, people start using terms like softplay and husbands playing for wives and vice versa. Makes me think the WEEDS should be getting some bonus points addded since Kendi will smack my face as quick as Id clothsline Tking as quick as she would slap the figure four on Valid HOPE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OH hell and I forgot if PETEY showed his face on carbon, we'd all 4 jump him stomp him and slap on the sleeperhold and take turns pinning him.

there has been no change to the rules

"team play" is still not allowed

however I am aware that some people feel it gets broken or that some people seem to think its ok ... but nobody has recently sent me anything specific to pull x y or z team up on it

the thing with the league(s) is that its pretty much the same 30 or so players - so everyone really should know better by now

I havent been so pro active on the tournaments simply because whenever I make a suggestion or pretty obviously point in the direction I would like to take things that would be better for the league ...

like splitting successful teams or splitting out top 2 winning teams each season etc which I would still like to do but nobody even seems prepared to "take one" in the interests of the league or the forum as most everyone seems more interested in whatever is better for themselves or their team at the time ... so I've kind of left everyone to it a bit

to be honest people really should be able to behave in a responsible manner without have a nanny running around after them or keeping order

however it was one of the key reasons for making teams 4 member max so at least this minimses cheats effects more so than when we had 6 and 10 member teams

its a really small league and pretty much everyone is known - so out of a sense of self respect and also sense of pride - people shouldnt be cheating as any scores as a result should ring very hollow sense of acheivement IMHO
