Season II Team play discussions

Season II will proceed after Season I which has nearly 4 weeks to run still.

The teams are being built for the next season.

You don't need to resign.

You are in a team started by scrawnybob and will remain in that for this series (season I).

Between now and the start of season II you can choose if you want to stay in that team, accept an invite to another team or start your own team if you so wish. The rules have been posted here.

no as mentioned in the other threads discussing the changes for season II

members stay in their season I teams ... for season I

and join a new (10 player max team) for season II

new season II rules (which are simplier and should make for more teams and less problems)

the current season I ends Wednesday 17th September

oops just to add - I wont be setting up any caretaker teams (the ones I look after) for season II as this just makes things more confusing

we need more of the members to setup teams - as members who are in one of my teams for seasonI teams will need to join a member team for season II ... or set one up

the leading a team has minimal admin (I can help on that if leaders contact me) but its better to have members set them up than me ... the passwords will get posted on team pages for teams that have more 5+ members automatically by me so really its just a case of approving members (max 10) after that there isnt really any other admin

Well I really didn't want to lead a team again, I much prefer the comforts of being in a team.

me or kingjames are going to start "elite season 2" soon...

i was about to start a thread for team leaders (which immediately was depressed by some of the GREAT MINDS here) that if anyone thought team leading is a bit more than just clicking several buttons - YOU ARE RIGHT!

hi all

we really really ... really need to get more new teams setup for season II ASAP

the new season will be starting soon and that means ALL current season teams will be disolved

so get setting up new ones ASAP

the admin is minimal (I will even help approve all comers on teams if that helps - PM me if you want me to do this)

I will post the passwords up on all new season II teams (so one less thing for leaders to do)

other than that all you need to do is setup a new team

create new group

give your group a name

and then either sit back and see who asks to join or send out invites to any members with 10+ posts or sort out your current team mates with a new home

we need at least 2 leaders for each of the current 20 member teams INCLUDING the ones that I am caretakering (as I cant setup teams without technically being on the rosta)
