Now on another note, i was quite shocked today with a racist player on my table.
This player was not only running down canadians but there was a player on the table with their country flag (India) and CHIPRAKER420 REPEATEDLY kept saying ur indian and other stuff to this person such as yo must work in customer service..... I was quite emabarresed by this fellow 4 king members treatment of others. Did he not get the pm from scrawny bob requesting the teams that are US to welcome the non us teams????
HMmmmmmmmm maybe he did not get it. The way he was running down canadians wwas horrible as well. I am trying ot figure ot how we as a poker community are to attract new members with this kind of thing happening on the table, not very good PR work i f you ask me. Are we not supposed to have some etiquette of some sort? I think that if we can promote our site then the amount of tournys we can have will of course be larger as well as the winnings. Most importantly i think that we miss out on making some good friendships as well and learning form one another about the game..... i would think this would be a good thing no????????? Any way theres my gripe and i might add i am not the kind of person who whines or complains in the first place.

Can you explain me how the league works?. I mean i join a team or start one, and then what? Where the games are played? how the team wins? etc.

Sorry for asking so much questions and excuse me for my ignorance, but i want to know how it works because i never played one and it seams fun.

good to see a decent turnout for the first TPT II game

nice spread of results and good to see 6 separate teams scoring in the first game
(all that effort re-starting the teams and having 10 max teams will be worth it)

We have a couple of players who's identity / team is unknown (even after some searching)
if those members of teams with non matching screen names / forum names can post up in their teams - discussion thread in the FORUM then I will be able to find them when I search

at the moment I need ID's for goegoe6 & CRACKKILLS420 - if they or leaders who know who they are can post up in the "claim your name" thread here ...

TPT II Claim Your Name - ONLY if you score (in top 10 in a game) AND if your screen name DOES NOT match your forum name ... otherwise DO NOT POST in this thread - its a royal pain in the a** when people dont read things

Conduct in Games - GENERAL NOTE

This has cropped up in several games over the weekend - I will NOT have another NK style f*ck up on the forum - OR be given the run around by members on either side of a dispute

I am NOT going to get involved unless I really have to (I will just delete any posts I dont like the look of) - as half the time there is an idiot + someone who should know better (but continues to make the situation worse and not leave it)

When it comes to off forum chat / table chat etc - I end up with two versions of events and generally neither is right ...

If its on the forum and I can see it then I will judge it accordingly - BUT bear in mind if the "wronged" party then behaves like an a** on the forum rather than being the bigger man (or woman) then they will risk getting an infraction etc as well

So simply - DONT BITE, DONT REACT, DONT MAKE IT WORSE

by all means let me know - but I've had my fill of messing around with trying to resolve things only to get screwed over and then have to make amends with people on other peoples behalf etc ...

The last couple of months has been exceedingly stressful for me (and very time consuming) as I feel an obligation to ALL the members of the forum and also want to make sure I dont end up with disaffected members either directly or as a non involved part of the whole forum ... trying to get that right and then have to build bridges with particularly valued members (and come to terms with previously valued members going off the rails) does NOT make this a pleasant job ...

I want the forum to remain a friendly place and for members to THINK before they act

SO BE RESPONSIBLE for YOUR OWN ACTIONS

TPT II teams can still be built & Joined

On a much more positive note - Its worth mentioning that members who are not yet in a team CAN still join a team ... just go to the 4kingpoker Teams Page pick a team to request to join by going to the bottom of that team page and hit "join group"

There are 32 NFL American Football themed teams which need members for example (these can be taken over by a member starting next season)

passwords will be posted in teams with 5+ members (for member setup teams) ... in the case of my caretaker teams I will post passwords in some with less members if I see that the members are legit etc (this in order to build the NFL teams up for this and the following seasons etc)

TPT II team choices page problem FIXED

Just to let everyone know that the problem on the main team page (showing all the team choices to join ONE team) is now fixed ... so there are now several pages of teams being built or to chose from to join.

Help approving new members for members teams

Looking at some of the member run teams - I dont want them to get neglected, but I also dont want to discourage members from building their own teams ... To this end IF members who have setup teams want me to ... I can help by approving any and all requests (providing they are not in a team already and providing they have 10+ posts)

IF members with their own team want me to do this ... the PM me requesting I approve member requests for them

BUT Please please please DO NOT leave members hanging on when they could be joining another team ... the same goes for teams that are full ... please send them a PM suggesting they join another team as your team is full & then reject the request to join.
