I just wanted to open up a new thread so that all the individual threads wouldn't be fighting for the front tab of the forum. This way all of the Season II team leaders can list their team and the type of team members they would like to attract. If you were thinking about starting a team... now is the time.

Because we're Canadian and live in a mult-cultural society (and maybe some of you just weren't fortunate enough to have been born here) we'll possibly consider some members from other countries also (lol),... but you'll have to play under the Canadian Flag.

You don't have to be a great player or anything, new players welcome (but 'keen' would be an asset). We're hoping to give some newbies a chance at playing alongside of the rest of us and will keep a section where you can post hand histories from the tourneys, looking for feedback from some of us who've been playing for awhile.

We're just two players strong so far but with over 8 decades of poker playing experience between us. So come on out and join us.

Oh yah,.. a bit of a potential bonus, we also figure on being some strong competition for taking it down.

Oh yah (again) we might be taking some proposals for a team name as well, and then as a team we could take a vote on it. One proposal already has been 'Crazy Canucks' but as that 'other' site already has a group of that name,.... maybe 'Crazier Caunucks'?

This team will consist of active people in the forum that have been members for a while. Your skill level isn't important. If you can play at the Sunday games and take an active role in the forum this is the team for you.

hi all

keep up the good work - great to see some new teams getting setup for season II and onwards

we still need more teams ;-)

also if your not wanting to setup a team but want to be in the new teams - then get you requests in to join ONE team asap

so we can get more teams & more people into the teams that are getting formed

then we should be able to see how we are doing - the new season will be starting very soon

so get busy
