Hi all

I can now annouce the winning team of the first 4kingpoker Team Play Trophy I
(team only league at Carbon Poker)

Winning Team is ... Team Elite

Congratulations to all the members of Team Elite ... you will all be invited to play in the winners game at Carbon this Wednesday 24th September

GRAND FINAL for the winning team with the most team points overall after 10 games

Wednesday 24th September, 7pm EST - $5 buy-in with $50 Added at Carbon Poker

with additional 1st place prize of a ticket to the Carbon Poker Monthly $50,000 Guaranteed Freeroll + a copy of the WSOP game for PSP or PS3

I will send Carbon the list of your team players - if anyone has non matching forum & carbon screen names - PM me ASAP

Well done to all the other teams for taking part, winning some cash along the way and getting involved ... The next season of TPT Team Play Trophy is now organised again at Carbon Poker ... so please get setting up those new SEASON II teams (the old team wont count or have new passwords posted in) so you must setup new teams or join new teams asap

I need all your carbon screen names asap - so I can get a preliminary list to them asap and another list with the hangers on ... the sooner you can all PM me or reply in this thread with your screen name the better ... Ideally PM me with it ;-)

As official co-captain of the team i would like to make a public suggestion:

KINGJAMES07 is our fantastic captain

, a great poker player

and a good friend

my suggestion: Let kingjames07's nice boys (which most of you know so well from his "pokerstars" account- have the Game CD WITHOUT COMPETITION ON IT.

it's the least we can do, and a warm thank you to our leader

I've had a look on the social pages - where all the season II teams should be

and there is a team elite season II

loks like its already 5/10 members so half full

Bear in mind that the new teams have a max of 10 players per team

so we absolutely MUST have people stepping up to setup new teams - just to accomodate the existing players ... this is why I've been banging on about it in every Password PM etc ... to try and get people organised and setting up new teams

I would really REALLY hope in the case of Team Elite ... the winning season I

that we can get ALOT of new team leaders - like at least 4 new teams setup from the existing players on team elite ... so really if you've been an active player ... then please setup a new team (rather than just joining one)

as I've said probably endlessly already ... its really easy ... I post the passwords ... now teams are 10 max (not 20) thats half the number of players to approve ... I can even help approve all comers to your teams if you like ...

but we really really need to get these teams up as the league will be starting back on Sunday 5th October

obviously your teams dont need to be full by then (I would rather see lots of new 5 member teams and room to grow)

After all this explaining for last 3-4 weeks how important the new teams are - I really hope we dont find that the most active 10 in a team have just been lazy and re-joined the renamed team ...

this must be avoided - so setup some more teams ... otherwise ...

a) it leaves the less active ones that joined a team in the first place out in the cold

b) there is little room for new people to join a team or see an incentive in setting up a new one if it all seems a bit clique

And that means we just end up back at square one ... I'd really hoped more people would have got the hang of this and setup more teams ...

so please please if you've played ... just set up a new team and give others a chance to get more involved as well

ps. I guess I'm going to have to give in and setup some more "caretaker" teams that I'm a non playing member on (ie. 11 in team) as we dont seem to have got enough people setting up teams so far ;-(

thanks jacks that is a great gesture....(if the rest of the team has no objections and bob can make it happen)

i just want to say again that the TPT was lots of fun and a big NICE JOB to all who participated.....since this was the first one for 4king the next should be even better

P.S.: to quote bob" + additional Carbon Poker Goodie prizes for players in the grand final (winning team) ".....any idea what the goodie prizes are yet bob????....just curious

ps. on the "goodies" front ... thats about the extent of what I know ... Carbon said something along the lines of "and we'll throw in some goodies too" so I dont know whether to get you excited about that or not ... it might be a free keyring for 1st place only ... or it might be a free carbon branded mahogany poker table for each of you ... (but I'm guessing not the latter)
