Poker Vikings - Team discussions

hi all

I'm putting up individual team threads for members to discuss team things in the general 4kingpoker team play section of the forum ...

this one for the new Poker Vikings

mainly because alot of the discussions in the closed team pages (social group part) are things that everyone would be interested in ... so if it doesnt need to be private (like when I post the passwords - which will be in the private team pages) ... its would be better for getting more participation and discussion if members posted in these threads or generally in the team play section or the forum

hope that makes sense

also a good start would be if leaders could post the next thread in this section with their team list ... which you can edit and add to as you get more confirmed players etc

also you could make things easier for admin if this thread had team members screen names at Carbon Poker, Full Tilt Poker ... as the team only events are at Carbon and the FullTilt league will also be played as a team scoring league as well as an individual scoring league

Any Vikings out there? I was able to play in today's US OPEN LEAGUE V Tournament - haven't been able to do many this season due to other commitments and just want to see if there are any others out there playing.

I'm glad to be a Poker Viking in any event.
As the days get short and cold, I finally have time for poker.

Now that the team name honors the Norsemen of 1000 years ago and not a football team, all should feel welcome.

just renaming the thread now - I will also be going through to check all the old disbanded team threads arent here anymore to confuse everyone

good to see the team has found some renewed vigour ;-)

BTW its also much better for the forum if team can discuss their team stuff in the open part of the forum (like this thread) rather than in the private team only part (where the passwords get posted) ...

there isnt really anything that needs to be secret from other teams and discussing team stuff in the open forum really helps engage interest from other teams and also members joining or setting up a team ;-)
