I am getting better but I know what it is like to be completely new. I would say to join several different poker forums to get a different perspective on the game. I know flopturnriver is also good or poker junkie. Maybe read up on others bad beats and stuff. I am not to sure about the software you found. I don't really have a tracker myself.
