opponent announces my hole cards preflop

ok so i thought about this for a long time before posting it but i figure if i get ridiculed so be it. noone believes me anyway so whatever...

last month on 1-08-08, i was playing an absolute poker freeroll. i'm from detroit and this guy (i'll say opponent #1) was talking down about the city and what not, and directing it at me because my pic is the detroit tigers logo...i wasn't even talking at all to begin with but he kept going on and on so i started being very annoying in the chat box when i would win pots. so after a while i have a few people irritated. i get pocket 9's and win a big pot and i say something like "that's what happens when you go against a pair of nines in detroit". so this other guy (opponent #2) chimes in and says "dude u wouldn't know what to do with a gun if you had one. i got my education off the streets so just shut up and play." so now i have these two guys totally engaged in some really heated chat and opponent #2 kept misspelling words so i was razzing him about it and calling him illiterate. after about an hour or so of this i'm getting a good stack going and still being very annoying.

now...this is the part where everyone stops listening.

i'm playing and the current hand ends...opponent #2 says in the chat box while the next hand is being dealt "well you know what the saying says..Ac6c" and he repeats it like so "AC6C" so i would be sure to see it. and guess what..my cards are in fact Ac6c. so now i'm stunned! i ask him how he did that and he says "well you know that education came in handy".

how is this possible? he unquestionably knew what my cards were. alot of people say he just guessed lucky but the odds of that are 1 in 2450. this was no guess. alot of people also say that if someone could see my cards they wouldn't tell me..but i'm telling you he could and he did. after that he wouldn't talk to me at all.

i have a screenshot of it i took at the moment it happened with the corresponding chat box if ANYONE wants to see it. i have emailed support and sent the picture at least ten times and called but they always give me the runaround and i never get a definite answer on how that was possible. of course they aren't going to admit that their software is compromisable.

i'm getting no answers on it. i don't work for any other poker site trying to drive off players from absolute. i haven't suffered any huge losses there that i'm disgruntled over. i have no reason to fabricate this story.

can anyone explain this? i know about the potripper thing but that was a while ago....this was recent, not to mention in a freeroll (wtf?).

that is pretty odd and deserves a reply from support.....but i have seen pros namely"negranau" do stuff like that live....mabye it was luck mabye not...but it does deserve a response.......another thing i don't understand are the multiple screens you have open and you'er seated at both...and they r both same tourney.....that confuses me

yes i've seen daniel do that, but after some betting...this was preflop--i didn't even play the hand. you're saying that you've seen someone get dealt two cards and immediately he goes 'oh u got 4 of clubs and a 7 of diamonds'...and i mean immediately? i think not. if so, please tell me the episode of the show you are talking about (eg. wsop 2007 day 2 vs phil ivey) and i'll pay you 100 bux to any site you play on. i get dealt cards and immediately he says this. and the pic....the one on top is the instant replay of the hand showing what i had and what i did. if you look in the corner you can see the hand number then look in the chat box and you can see the corresponding number. the other window is the game.

he didn't say 'what do you got pocket kings'? he told me what i had EXACTLY.

good point on the daniel after flop thing....i just don't know....something is fishy about it but lets just say he did have something that can tell ya other peoples hole cards why would he waste the time using it in a freeroll???

It would actually be half-way smart to use it in freerolls as to not scare anybody when you win all the time they just think you are taking out all the donkeys

...but I would def keep hassling support at AP and sap them around a little until you gget a nice response from them this is way to FISHY

There have been a lot of scandels going on at that site the last year or so. Get what money you have, leave and never return.

well your nickneme is "donkey" and i cant take seriously anyone with that kind of nickname. lol just kidding... DONK4LIFE is one of the biggest sharks at carbon poker IMO.

and now my 2 cents: ok, it is a freeroll, you are from detroit, the game is at absolute (great vodka btw), you pissed some guys, your nick is donkey and someone guessed your hole cards... so far so good?

now, i think - absolute poker is crapsolute poker and since youve found a fly at an X restaurant soup - you shouldnt/wouldn't eat there again aka should'nt play there anymore.

as i opened your thread, i thought i was gonna see some amazing scam of guessing somebodys cards over and over again but the fact is - he guessed your one hand - only one single poor freeroll hand!!! what am i saying?? im saying that even for 1 in amiilion chance (and there are less options) of guessing your hole cards, you should'nt get so dramatic about it. i mean - what was on the next hand? did he also guess it? and the next one? and the next? or was is only this one particular hand?
i dont think that you should be/get so amazed by it, other than sending an email to the support, and after getting (or not getting) your reply - stop playing there immediately and find another good/respectfull/reliable site for playing there. have a look at our site reviews (top sites) and pick one from there.

to sum this up- i do believe you. i really do. i just think that since it was a freeroll - it doesnt worth even a reply, but it certainly worth an advice and it is: going elsewere to find games you can play after you'l know the new sites reputation is 100% like carbon fulltilt...

i personally would never buy in a store i had bad experience at...
