hi all

Default first to reopen

hi Harry

yep I think they're the first to have been in US market then withdraw and now re-enter

Action Poker / PokerinCanada / Tiger Gaming is a fairly small network - so I think they probably realised they cant survive without the US players - Party & Pacific seem to think they can expand in non US market which they probably will but they have big budgets

I think this will probably be the start of smaller networks / sites that withdrew coming back in - those sites that stayed have benefited - and for some its purely survival

Anyway Action are a good string of sites for finding very fishy weak players and they have good bonuses to (the software isn't so pretty & the traffic is a bit low)

which brings up another issue of secuity and money (not an issue with action gaming I dont think) as they might not be huge but they are reputable

There are lots of tin pot skin rooms that have very very low individual traffic - if the network they are on has dropped out of the US market then they will probably be struggling

there are also alot of tin pot skin rooms setting up generally - see the "I play at neverheardofitpoker.com its great" posts in forum and while they maybe on a known or good network I personally dont see the point in going too far away from the top 30-50 sites

Lets hope the whole stupid bill gets re-written or a carve out for poker - either way I reckon if Party Poker ever came back in it would never recover in the US market - although I may be wrong

cheers scrawnybob

Well 4PrincePoker as you can see the posts are quite old. In present time I play at Tigergaming.com, but I am afraid they no longer take US Players due to the UIGEA thing.....they are quite reliable and it is easy to clear bonuses and cash out; nonetheless I fully recommend then just not if you live in the US.

Has anyone here in the forum played on action's site yet? Is it even worthwhile or just a second rate site?

Wink

I play at Tigergaming and it is part of the Action Poker Network, so they basically run the same promos and bonuses. I really enjoy the fact that I can play in some easy Tournaments and tables and since (thankfully) my poker skills have improved, I get to win easily. Right now I am playing the satellites for the WSOP and I really think I have a shot at winning one of those $14,000 packages they are offering since the players in this site are not as skilled as in Stars or Bodog where I play just to socialize, but don't make half the money I can do at TG.

I really recommend them, the CS people are nice and you have Live Chat so you don't have to be on the phone or waiting for an email reply for hours...you just have to approach them and get an immediate response. Also their signup bonus gives you the most opportunities to make some ca$h and when you refer your friends they give you $25 for each referral and you can refer as many ppl as u want.

To sum up, it is a good site...not too big but not small since it is part of a network that guarantees you'll get paid. Hope this helps!
