Poker In Canada site.......
Has anyone checked out Poker In Canada poker site??
I've tried playing on two freerolls on that site (being that I am a Canadian it did grab my attention).
I got to tell you,.. it was the absolute worst players I have ever seen on any freeroll (not just the usual 'allins' during the first 10mins. like some of the freerolls out there but even when it got down to the final few tables, the majority of the play was terrible ---- calling stations galore, plyrs. regularly tryin' to connect with 2 ro 3 outers).
My girlfriend was playing on it last week (she's only been playing poker for 2mos.) and made it all the way to the final table, placing 6th out of over 2,000 entrants (just by mostly playing the Sklansky Top10 hands, and raising out aggressively when catching on the flop).
When I was playing, I was amazed by some of the technical glitches I experienced on the site (I was folded without folding, lol (and not from 'timing out'; lost a significant number of chips when being transferred to another table once; and at one point, I actually was dealt the exact same 'hole cards' for three hands in a row (Ad-9h). I contacted technical support and they admitted that that stuff does happen at times but assured me it would definitely not happen if I were playing on their cash game tables (???). Needless to say, my confidence level was completely a zero.
It sure got me to appreciate some of the other sites that I do play on regularly (cash and freerolls).
so,... just a word of warning,... the Poker In Canada site isn't worth the bother to even download (freerolls could be cashed out on, but then you'd need to earn sooooo many plyr. pts. to actually retrieve that 'free cash' that it was really next to impossible).
