    Default 77 vs kk

raise preflop with my 77 guy with button flat calls with KK. Flop comes out 7 Q 4 (rainbow). im first too act raise pot (at this time pot is 870) i had 3300 chips he was chip leader with around 9,000 puts me all in i of course call. Turn: Q (which gave me a full house and him only a couple outs either a K, or Q(didn't even think about the Q)), River: Q. Ends up runner runner'ing a better full house. i was in awe

Thats tough mentally, but at least he wasnt callin with a shyt hand. He had to be pretty confident with his over. I'm not 100% sure i'd call it a Bad beat. He had you dominated pre. Sucks, but you gotta let it roll off. You'll catch some card on an unsuspecting fool and be just fine.

true i would of done the same thing if i was him, it just sucks after the cards are flipped up, and i look at his 3 outs left in the whole deck, and it hits. But o well its poker cant win everyhand

There's not much you can do in a situation like that. You get a hand you can't get away from, and a stack size that dictates your play, and all you can do is hope you are in with the best of it and that the hand will hold up.

Last week in prima 77 and any 7 in the blinds where hotter than Haleys' Comet ! to the point it was becomming a joke that if you had 72 off in your blinds bet the Bejabrs out of it!!!

I got that bored with it in Ladbrokes I nearly went to bingo with the wife......

PS it's interesting if you are talking about a diffrent site than Ladbroke....mrmm very interesting.

    Hi Kongol!

Losing with a full house to a higher full house happens now and again. It probably hurts a bit more than losing to quads though, which could have been the case with the queens and whatnot. Still, with the set of 7s, I think you did the right thing for that particular situation.

Better Luck at the tables -and- Happy New Year 2009!

Yesterday I played freeroll. In one of distributions I had a flush Ace high, and so the opponent has collected straight-flush... It was all-in
