I assume this was a tourney. Judging from the size of the blinds, the tourney had just started. Now I would like to know the buy-in.

But okay, let's see. There was $25 in the pot, flop 9s 9h 5c. You bet $830 which is over 33 times the flop. Your opponent assumes that if you really had a 9, you would not bet so much. So you either have a 5, which he can beat with either 7 or A on turn/river, or you have nothing and just bluff. He isn't too good player, and he hates if someone bluffs him, so he calls. Now on turn he hit's an Ace and obviously goes all-in, because he's sure you don't have a 9 especially since you didn't continue betting on turn. The third player, who folded on turn probably had mid-sized pocket pair, or another 5.

You made two mistakes: First you bet too much on the flop, and then you call on turn when it was obvious that he had Ace or a 9. Your opponent didn't play solid either, he should not have called your bet on the flop, but he was a loose player and assuming the buy-in of the tourney was low/freeroll, he didn't have much to lose.
