Default chance to vent and learn

My game is constantly evolving. I learn from reading posts from more experienced players, reading articles/books, and playing. You can learn alot from losses at the table aand even more if you post the hand for evaluation. What I thought was a bad beat 2 years ago is not the same now. I hope that is always true.

It is not just whining, IMO.

I love the badbeat section one cause you can see that the same crap is happening to everyone and not just you. Yes I have those days. Also when I take a really terrible beat and take the time to post it, rare for me to but, it gives me a place to vent and cool off instead of tilting on the table. Kinda like when you parents told you when you get mad count to 10 before you say or do anything, haha. Plus it gives you a place to learn from other peoples mistakes, when it really wasnt a badbeat but the let some one drawout by weak betting a big hand.

One vote for closing it, and twelve voters that did not vote for closing it. Fairly conclusive!

I don't post in the Bad Beat section of the 4kingpoker forum, but sometimes I stop by to read a few of 'em.
One person expressing that they want a section of the forum closed is fine, but it's never going to happen. Much like the idea of free speech, this section has a purpose.
As mentioned above, just don't go into that section. How easy is that?

Without a badbeat section, everywhere I look I've got to read how somebodies KQ lost to some donk with a 2-3 who sucked out with a pair of quacks on the flop. The inhumanity! Wait, that was me, yesterday.

    Default Keep it

I vote Keep it, it gives all the loser's some where to write when they have no money left, until they can re-fund!
