Was this really a bad beat
Did I put a bad beat on this player. Regitered late in a turbo torney and lost half my chips on my third and only hand I played. couple of hands later get AQ off suit on the button. Player in early position raises 3BB to 600. I call SB folds BB calls
Flop 4 2 2 Raiser puts me all in with another raise I suspect a coin flip and if I don't get some chips I'm going no where in this torney so call BB folds. Damm he shows QQ.
Turn 6 river A. Yes I got lucky but my call wasn't a bad one. Player who lost couldn't leave it alone swore in chat and for the next half hour kept refering to it any time any one enter anything in chat.
To me anyone who rants in the chat window is usually a poor player and soon goes out, this one looked a reasonable player which is why I ask was it such a bad beat

i guess it depends how shortstacked you were ... 442 is not a good flop to have AQ on ... depending on stack size, i would have probably folded.

he didn't 'chase' he called an all-in on the flop on a read and was wrong. chasing would be calling the flop, then another turn bet and then catching.
honestly, if you were going to do this, just push all-in preflop.

Thank you for your replies.
In answer to questions. I had 8 times the big blind so pretty short. It was only a 3$ tornement and I'd entered late already behind the average.
As the last poster said I should have pushed all in pre flop, don't know why I didn't. I would have still got called but he may have been a bit less upset.
I play a lot of micro tornements as I don't have a big bankroll. I can't remember how many times I've had a similar thing happen to me where I've been the loser it's par for the course in micros.
