You want bad beats? Here's one
Playing some 6-max NLHE at Carbon. $50 buy-in table. Pretty early so I still have about $45 or so.
Get Js 9s and raise it up to 3.5xBB ... Get a caller.
Flop is a wet dream. .... Ts 8s 7d.
I lead out with a pot-sized bet and get raised ALL-IN (well, I had the guy covered).
I instacall and he shows 6d 9d. I'm an 86:4 favorite with a 10 percent chance of a tie.
Turn and river are DIAMONDS. And he scoops the pot with a flush.
And the worst part is, he lays into me about my bad play. For at least 30 minutes I have to listen to this guy tell everyone how good he is and how bad I am. If I was at a live table, I would have been in my first fight in 30 years. I would have lost, but I would have gone down swinging.
I don't mind losing. I don't like it, but I don't mind it. But shut your mouth when you pull of something like that.

What a Moron. I mean how could he call your playing of that hand Bad in any way ?? He sukked out with a Runner Runner flush. How could he even defend winning that hand being so Dominated. ??

@pirates: yes this is the worst, when you lose after being the big favorite and then the other starts telling you how bad you played.

There is a good side to it, lnowing that in average the other player will loose these hands. I normaly try to imagine how these players are yelling when they loos, still thinking they did good play. This normaly makes me smile and most of the time even laugh
cheers snowfish
