I think I should have re raised on the flop but having the best hand at that point slow played.
What about a bet on the turn ? still got the best hand.
River well I didn't think if I had it should have been easy to put one of them on a full house rather than a weaker flush. I'd only committed 20% of my stack to the pot and it was still the early stages of the tournement

If it was me, on the flop you checked the nuts no problems there but when the other guy raised and then other guy called I would have reraised the flop then more than likely I would have pushed all-in on the turn since the board didn't pair. If the set called he called but he knew he was fishing for outs on the turn and you can;t let them do that for free.

I think you are right should have re raised the flop probally would have won it then.
Never a good idea to give free cards unless you have the absolute nuts in low stake tournements.

I can't fault your slo play on the flop, but I would certainly have bet for value on the turn. If they have nothing, they may call to see the river and you would earn more, if they have nothing and you bet on the river, they certainly won't call and you lose the chance to get more of their chips. that is in general. Now to this hand, You ran into some bad luck, no doubt about it. As to whether you should have seen the Full House, it's a toss up, I would probably have bet just as you did on the river.

If this had been later in the Tournement a bet on the turn would have won it I'm sure.
I play most of the time on Poker stars and like to have a go at the guaranteed money tournements as the money for reaching the final table can be a few hundred $ to a few thousand dependant on buy in. The trouble is they can take several hours to play and early on they are a bit of a lottery as players chase for chips to try and build big stacks.
I've fould you don't have to chase early as long as you can stay slightly ahead of the chip average you will reach the money and it's not hard to catch the chip leaders with a few good hands after that if not you should at least double your money by reaching the top 10%
In the hand above I was twice the chip average at the start of it so didn't need to push so should have factored that in as well. As it is it was 5.50$ down the drain.
For those who like stats my ROI% for the 5.50$ tournements is 400+% however overall on PS it's only 30% must stop playing turbo sit and go's

I would have slow played there too.If you made any decent raise on a flush flop everyone would have folded.I have to agree though you you have bet 1/4 of the Pot making it look like a value bet to get more chips. Not sure it would have chased the tripps out anyway.Just unlucky. For all the times you get sukked out there you make more Big pots slow playing. It would have been a great laydown though and with so many ALL IN,s some would have been crippled.

i disagree. you don't say what kind of tournament this is, what level, etc.
just because there are 3 of one suit on the flop, doesn't mean a raise on the flop is going to get people to lay down sets.
as for the river, you faced a bet and a raise before you went all-in. what did you put him on? the alarm should have been sounding in your head that you were beat possibly.

I think my later reply gave an idea it was a $5 MTT and the blinds were in the first post.
But to clarify PS $5 entry $20,000 prize pool level 6.
My point was I didn't take time to think after the river which is why I lost. A better player would have seen the possibility of a full house and folded. Betting the turn might have had the sets folding but considering it was only level 6 I doubt it.
