Frenchies that cant fold AK

2: guess you didnt read my 2nd post, I do want ppl to call when I am 70/30 ahead. It was all about the /gg at the end.
3: I can fold KTo in any position, just as I can fold AK after a big reraise. Prob. wouldnt have folded it if I was the original raiser in this hand, but just called instead of a crazy push with a drawing hand pre flop in level 1.

On your point 1: I tried to change the thread name, but it didnt work.

On your point 2: I understand you view, but I dont think we will agree on that one. An /ul or /sorry is more apropiate to show that.

I was kind off p** how this hand ended up on the river, hence my complaining "bad beat" post.

Bob I understand your concern and I want to assure you that all reference to the dutch, or american people were just plain jokes and I hope OP will understand that in the future. Great #4KP tour on PKR today. 3 hands played.

I was in BB with KK and mr Hojediade raises to 60 after 2 limpers.
I re raise to 380 to show I got a real hand.

But the French (about 98% on PKR) cant fold their AKoff. They think it is the nuts pre flop.

That he hit the river was bad, but saying good game!! after that, omfg.............

You mean to say you weren't happy to have been able to get it allin prefloop? (oh.. I just read thru further ahead to one of your responses & do see that you were happy to have done so). So... you were ahead....& then you lost. No Biggy. Some people are willing to flip w AK in early levels..... what can ya do.... big deal. That's poker.

I can understand feeling like you get donked... but AK... come on.. no big deal. He can't flatcall the big 3-bet... and yah he's probablly not in great shape to someone who's 3-betting in early levels.... but you never know.... So... he should just fold then I suppose? I'd be begging for the call all day long if I was sitting on KK there... and when I lost... oh well.

Why do some players online make reference to another's country of origin/residence? Seems pretty ridiculous & immature ( but then again you get alot of this on the tables online.... especially in the micro limits but also in some marginally bigger buyins too). ie. "Oh figures.... a Canadian... etc. ec." Oddly enough (or maybe not so oddly)... it's usually Americans on the tables who make these references. Its been my experience that the kids growing up in the educational system in the USA don't get alot of info. introduced to them outside of their own bubble...ie. >> USA = world
There've been times where I've actually let it piss me off... just their ignorance & brashness. Really I think I should feel sorry for them.

Hey OP....whatever your name is... welcome to the forum!! I've made the error of posting after being pissed off on the table..... probably not such a great idea. I've also had IDioTs say stuff like "bye bye"... after knocking me out with a bad call/shove &/or suckout. As I'm sure you're now fully aware, this was simply not the case here...with the "gg". The member you were referring to hojewhateverumacallit (<< sorry... I forget how to spell your name).... is actuallly a really nice person. I think you'd like them if you got to know them even just a bit.

Back to the hand... (idk why.. lol). $1 buyin private game... playing vs. an 'unknown'.... I might just 4-bet shove AI w AK. It depends....

I think a normal poker player would want their KK being called by a hand that is 30% underdog, but noooo, you're Mr. arrogant american and u lost with KK buhuhuu

I think it's a rule in online poker that you MUST play AK like it's quad aces. At least that's what I see in my experience.

Hoje is an agressive player (don't think the country of origin has anything to do with it). I'm not suprprised to see the reraise.

As far as the GG goes. Comeon, we all say it to be polite to the other forum members. I am absolutely sure that Hoje meant it in a good way.

Hey everyone,

First of all, the title sounds good to me so that i knew i was involved in that thread.
Plus thoses days, it seems like France is on top of hated nation, thanks to Mr Henry, so that i deserve some bad comments i guess.

I hope you understood that my GG were polite & regret words, cause i never laugh at opponents (in private games at least) when i'm lucky, which i was.
Most of members know me well so that you can probably believe their views on me and if you think i was disrespectful with you it's probably cause i'm not as good as mastering english as dutches are (i still don't know the meaning of /ul for example, even tho i'm playing for some years now).
Next time you'll won it and i'll say GG either as always.
BTW, bad beats even happens to frenchies, it's no dutch exclusive BUT you will never see me complaining about a bad play in our private games. Afterall we're no pro poker player which led us to do mistakes once in a while and maybe more.

Anyway, i thank's everybody for the keen words that really warm me up.

PS: Bob i will try to do some bad moves in next games so that we'll keep on having more posting activity.
