Thanks for your reply hojediade.

I understand now your GG wasnt an extra kick in the ass after a beat. Some other people (that probably know you) allready tried to convince me of that, but hearing it from you is much better!

Like poker orifice said: I left a table a little pissed of after that 3 outter. Wont happen again!

I'm glad you understood me a bit more.

Let's say that i will probably have to consider re-raising you AI next time.
Let's also say that's a way to learn on each-other and that will probably be useful to you in our next games.

BTW, i would have answered your thread faster if i'd been able to, so that you wouldn't have waited for days.

I agree with what Bob said way back. All players say GG after some-one gets knocked out. Its as common as saying hello or good day. I for one will not say GG when some-one has played like a Donk all game and gets knocked out. I say Cya.!! And my biggest BEEF is players who say NH when its not. eg... will have Pocket QQ,s, bet ALL-IN to be called by an Ace-3. An Ace spikes the river and players are saying NH ?? Fumes me so I reply How is Ace-3 a NH against QQ, ??? People just auto say nh and gg. When I say NH i mean its a nice hand and well played.

Default gg genuine nh can be ironic imho

hi

lol I would just have to add that when I used GG I tend to use it alot I suppose because it genuinely covers maybe a load of hands and they went out unluckily or they went out playing a last hand badly, but overall having played a good game

so for me GG is genuine

however with use of NH it can mean several things ...

a)NH because I'm acknowledging a better hand asap ideally before the flop etc - where I'm quite likey to suck them out (as I dont generally go all-in or get stuck blinded away on a total junk hand)

b) NH because it was a nice hand and someone else sucked them out (eg, NH GG)

c) NH because their hand totally isnt a nice hand and everyone else would realised I was taking the pi**

d) NH because their hand totally sucked and they then get lucky and take me out etc etc and I'm being totally ironic - and thats also (hopefully) the nearest you'll see me to venting on the table or tilting

cheers scrawnybob

I'm right there with ya..... how about when you've got something like AK, you hit TPTK on a flop of A-T-3... blinds fairly high you play it fast and cbet 3/4pot and a guy with 2-2 puts you allin.. you call and he hits a 2 on the turn or river and someone says.... wow... NH!! (what in the 4k is nice about it?..... lol... nice that they played it terribly and got 'nicely' lucky as 4k?).

In the end its all about luck in a showdown man, dont take it like that.
It happends. How about when i had 9 10 and the flop turned 8 J Q
My opponent had Q 10 and went all in, i called him and the turn and river turned out like this: 8 and K
I was really pissed but what could i do? Nothin...
