i know u have all heard this complaint before, i was once sceptical myself, but am now a true believer. My story.
first week of playing poker lost $1000 next 6 months lost 500 won money on a free roll after that, like 2 bucks, parlayed that into 200 at micros stakes 1c/2c about 6 months moved up to 5c/10c lost 180 in one day, parlayed 20 bucks into 100 at 1c/2c moved up to 2c5c ran well for two or three weeks move up to 5c10c lost all in one day (back down to 1c2c). this has happened at least a half dozen times over the past two years, long time to build a roll one day to loose it as soon as i move up a level or two.
Today i played well at 1c2c 35bb/100 hands (5000hands 1c2c six handed) moved up to 5c10c and lost 280bb/100 hands.
EVERY TIME I PUSH ALL IN AHEAD I LOOSE AND 90% ITS ON THE RIVER. Every time i move up i loose 70-90% when i push all in ahead.

My comment would be to ignore this post. We've seen this 100 times and currently theres another post in the same exact forum claiming the same such thing. If you think they're stealin from you... don't get your money where they can grab it. Take up curling.
90% of players are bad players or marginal players (the majority being marginal players)
therefore over the longer term the majority of players who arent prepared to work on their game & learn more about the game and improve ... will become losing players or marginal players
IMHO this is why its fundamentally important that people enjoy the game and also play within their bankroll and financial limits
the interesting thing is that the vast majority of those 10% winning players over long term are members of forums, read alot of strategy, are open to new ideas & also get over bab beats and are not rigtards
players who feel things are rigged need to either take a break from the game and use time to study and improve or just get straight on with studying and improving

ps. there is a big difference between pushing all-in technically "ahead" and correctly pushing all-in when you are ahead by a country mile ...
AK is NOT and never should be an auto all-in hand for example ... OR going allin with 44 on a mixed flop, getting called by someone with high non paired over cards might make your 44 a very very slight favourite but that isnt something that justifies these plays
marginal hands like this may make a player technically "ahead" when their all-in is called but that DOES NOT make this a rightous or correct move ... its probably where the hole in your game is IMHO

BANKROLL MANAGEMENT
If you dont have the bankroll to move up the levels dont. If you do have the bankroll to initially move up once to start to lose and fall below the min requirement you have to drop down a level again.
Lots of different bankroll management advice on the internet but similar figures say you should not have more than betweeen 2-5% of your bankroll in play at any one time.
Figures vary slightly between palying cash sng's or tournaments
if your consistantly beating .01/.02 then moving up limits then it seems like your doing well. problem seems to be when you do move up your making poor bankroll choices, whether your getting unlucky or not you shouldn't be going broke, you should be moving back down in limits when in trouble. seems like your getting unlucky then tilting off your roll.

Poker Stars always gets the most posts about being rigged. But i have to agree with Bob that 90% are bad players and play less than marginal hands. Poker Stars is so big and popular it attracts many newbies with TV Ads so have some of the worst players. So its going see some of the worst sukk-outs because the hands shouldn,t have been played in the 1st place.

Speaking solely from a micro PL Omaha perspective I’d like to throw in my 2c.
You can call me paranoid and flame me if it makes you feel better but I have always had my suspicions of player collusion and players "farming" the lower and micro tables.
The reason for this is you can be the tightest player in the world but when you make a bet the same 3 or 4 people will call you every-time. Check it down on the river and then check the hand history to look at their mucked hands and you’ll see just about every draw possible. You’ll have idiots calling pot sized bets on a gut buster which makes no sense at all to me, I don’t care how many people are going to the river. Now, when this notorious donk makes a bet the same people that call you every-time insta-fold.
You could put this down to them just being horrible players but,,, a few days ago I’m fishing the 1c/2c tables and I come across 1 table with roughly $150 on it, 1 player with $80 another with $50, average pot size $40 having never seen the like before I decide to join them and give my FPP’s a little boost. They are all very chatty and I recognize some of the names from 5c/10c. 5 players belong to a popular poker forum with many thousands of members then one player tells the other to "Voice up" to which he replies "I can’t my mic is broke". I have lost money to these players on a regular basis and even with my severe case of un-medicated paranoia I would never have suspected these guys to be colluding. I have to admit it pissed me off but then I got to thinking Pokerstars is supposed to be dead set against collusion but really, what can they do to combat headsets and mic’s?
So, in closing my theory would be it’s not Pokerstars screwing you, it’s the pre flop donk and his 3 buddies causing the major tilt that leads to you blowing your roll all over the table!!!
Footnote: In the past 3 days I have had 2 Royal Flushes 6 Quads and so many over boats that I ran out of fingers and toes, should I invest the 10k in the WSOP main event?
you should of contacted support and told them about the colluding going on. if you have lost money to these players before like you said then contacting support would have stopped this from happening to others. they may have also possibly reimbursed you if their hand history from earlier tables agreed with your statement.
collusion happens - but thats not the site or rigged
hi
yep I have to agree that unfortunately collusion does happen - that is IMHO inevitable that people would try to shoot the angles ... but sites DO deal with it
definately contact support of whichever site you have seen or feel you may have seen it on - with screen names and / or hand numbers etc ... they will be grateful and deal with it one way or another and you will feel better for cleaning up the game a bit
also IF you feel your table doesnt feel right and maybe players are building up pots or collectively scalping you in an organised way ... then contact support
it may just be that the play is so bad that they are not colluding but all exploiting the same weakness or hole in a game ... or it might be IM collusion ... the sites will be able to work it out much the same way decent poker players could deconstruct HH's this is pretty much what one dept will do
however its important to make a very big distiction between PLAYER cheating not the same as players who think the sites themselves are rigged (I dont buy into the whole rigged sites thing personally)
cheers scrawnybob

Pokerstars is a dodgy site i came 2nd in a game for bounty stars of poker and guess what they changed there requirements from first 2 to only first place, I questioned them and guess what Ive lost every fooking hand Ive been in front with since this Ive sent emails to the UK gaming commission and so on but been fucked off by all of them.
But hey hoe there only the biggest online site out there so basically don't mess with them.
