To AL in the 1st Post I would be swearing and breaking things too.I usually blame the Site for dealing those cards. But for this Joker to call an ALL IN with top pair but just a 5 Kicker is ridiculous. But then it seems the poker site rewards these fools so more players see it and play like they do.

RG at the time I'll blame anyone but it's only a brief rant as I can recall times I've been the one to make the bad call and have it work in my favour. Like last night I raise 5 x BB with 10 J of spades from late position, short stack on table goes all in and without thinking I call Had him covered and he had been playing loose but still if I'd taken more time would probally folded as expect to be up against a decent pair or at least an ace.
Sure enough he shows bullets and I see my self saying bye to some of my chips.
The flop and turn bring a glimmer of hope with Q of spades and the turn the 8s the river finishes it for him with a 9 of spades straight flush for me. He didn't post any chat but I can imagine what he called me.

i find some tourneys it hard to bet people off even if they have bottom pair. all i can say is chalk it up to variance. good luck to you.

Look at it this way - you were damn lucky to hit the flop with 9To in the small blind and he was damn lucky to hit on the river - this is the nature of the game so all you can do is suck it up. Your stack was also large enough so that you could have folded 9To in early position (even with 4 players) and wait for a much better hand - depending on the type of players you were up against (which you did not specify in your post).

A mistake made in the past is not as important as the lesson learned from it.
