Cap Locks
Agree, CAP LOCKS makes for dis-interest and is difficult to read for most so why do it unless you are legally blind. lol
Agree with statement as it really does seem more than varience.

I'd hate to start WW4, BUT
apart from the gratuitous hyphen...
disinterested means impartial, not taking sides
uninterested means
don't give a F**K

OMG, who's going to start WW5????
Roll up, roll up!!!!!!

I have played online poker since 2005 and have learned a lot.
Often it certainly feels like the sites are rigged, but I ask myself... Why would a site rig it? Their hardware is bought, they are running tournaments and ring games, and they are driving traffic. If a site were determined to be rigged or cheating, they have much more to lose than just letting the cards play themselves out.
So why the perception of so many more suckouts? I think it is simple math.
I have played well over 250,000 hands since 2005 online, and I would estimate my total hands live would be around 15,000. So for every suckout live, I would see about 13 online over the same time period. So it looks 13x more often online, but in reality is the same.
Second, I would propose that suckouts do occur more online (even from a ratio basis) and I attribute this to the anonymous nature of online play. In other words people are more willing to risk making a bad call online, which in turns increases the number of chances for a suckout, which in turns increases the number of suckouts. Even a 4 outer post the flop has approx. a 16% of hitting so in 100 additional attempts you would see 16 more suckouts.
So when you take into consideration the additional number of hands, the additional risk players are willing to take because of the online anonymous factor, and as someone stated previously the human psyche to more vividly remember being beat when you were all-in ahead and all of sudden most sites are rigged.
