    Default All in kq?

Last night I was in a very strong tourney on cake. Started with a field of 56 and paid top 10. I managed 3-5 place most of the time. Things started to turn at bubble time. Within a few hands I was on the bubble and was folding everything under the sun. I was down to 3250 chips when I managed to get AA. The player to my left was first to bet after everyone else folded around to him. He went all in with about 4100 and of course I called. When he turned over QK I knew victory was mine. Then the flop 8 Q K turn and river no help at all.. Out in 11th in paying top 10. That person had me steaming the rest of the night

Sounds pretty unfortunate although I'm sure there are many a tale of going out with AA/KK & being way ahead on the bubble (I know I have a bunch of times in smaller field tourneys, even while sitting in good shape and having someone call you down with 3-3 where there's a couple of real shortstacks on the table).
At least getting knocked out wasn't from the guy calling your shove & instead was vice versa. Still sucks though. Hate it when you figure you set it up for a dream come true situation (like this one you've posted about) and then things go for chit. Tends to happen alot in SNG play (guy raises with KT/KJo, you shove over with AA (or even KK).. and the KT beats your KK). As they say, "that's poker". Maybe part of why we love hating the game? (or hate loving it?).
Something I just read the other day.... taking beats like this just means you're "earning your 'run good' " A few more of these and for sure you're bound to run good for awhile. This does seem to kinda ring true I know for myself it's been just after a long string of badbeats that I actuallly end up going deep in something & make a decent cash or place a few times in a row in smaller field tourneys. You're bound be to due!!
