I get dealt pocket 10s and raise. The SB has been calling EVERYTHING, no problem. I play a lot of hands, too, so I understand.
Flop comes 9h 4d 5s. I bet, he calls.
Turn is a 3h. I bet, he calls.
By the way, I had positiion and he checked both streets.
River is the 6c. Now, I'm like, WTF? He checks again. I see there's 4 to the straight and figured he couldn't fold his powerful ace high, so I check behind to avoid to avoid the checkraise from the dummy.
I probably could have lived with Ace 7 or A2, but, what does this guy turn over? 10 2 ... 10 2.
I really don't understand how people an call the flop with some of the hands they do in limit. I mean, I will call with a gutshot if I think I can get in 3 or 4 bets on the river if I hit, but jesus - 10 high? I would have had to raise with 78s for him to have a chance.
Rant over.
