    Default How is this possible!!!

I was playin in a freeroll on bodog tonight. I know it's a fr so you'll get all kinds of nonsense. But tonight was unbelievable. This guy is raising every other hand, usually with nothin. I won't go into all the crazy hands he hit, but here are 2 of them. First he raises, then he is reraised pretty hard, he pushes allin with 2 4 off. His opponent has A A. 4 on the flop 4 on the river. Now, as he continues to build his stack, coming from behind in allin after allin, he starts to slow down some. 2 hours in he has about 9000 chips, I'm down to just under 4000. I get Q Q in early pos. As I've done all night I just call, knowing he'll raise. Of course he does, another calls, I push, both call. He turns over 7 8 off, other guy has Q 10. Flop Q 8 8. I fig. I have it won, more than triple up. But wait, of course, another 8 on the river, his one outer hits. How can the same guy hit 1,2, and 3 outers all night.

Alright, now I've had a night to sleep on it. I'm still disgusted. I saw this guy hit at least 4 3 outer, plus the 2 hands in the prev. post, lets fig. the odds to string together something like that. First, to hit a 3 outer once after the flop is about what? 1/7 approx., same for the A A versus 2 4o preflop, so for those 5 to happen 1/7^5 which is 1/16807. Then to top it off with his 1 outer after the flop (1/20) gives us 1/336140 or .0003%. Now lets equate that to say, Black Jack. If you play perfectly, your chances of winning each hand averages just less than 1/2. So to accomplish what this guy did, you would win 18 or 19 hands straight. When's the last time you saw someone do that?

I have never seen anyone win that many straight either live or online.

I've seen the silly ass runs like that before. It's pretty sick... but it definitely happens. Worst possible scenario with the 24 vs AA if they were sharing exact same suits it is 12% to 87%... so 1 outta 10 times the 24 wins worst possible scenario. Shit happens... quad aces lost to straight flush in the WSOP ME? I mean odds are long but not impossible. Can you keep your head and not let it affect your game? That's the question.

Did he end up cashing for 23 cents? What's the point in playing freerolls? Just having fun, right? I would have just loled at that hand and moved on...

I have seen this happen as well. And it just seems as if the Site has picked the winning SEAT at the table and not necessarily the player. It seems that SEAT catches all the cards AA,, KK,, QQ,, and even when they don,t start with the best cards they hit the flops or win all the Races. And thats not in free rolls. From there it only gets worse as the players chip stack grows and they get the feeling of invulnerability. They start playing 6-8 hands and seem to hit tripp 8,s on the flop or the str8,s.Stay away from challenging these players. lol

it no wonder that he was able to do it cause a lot of good hands will fold when challenged.some will play any two card. you was right to stay away from his all in's but the last one got ya. queens are only a pair and in his mind a pair is no good or he wouldn't be playing that crap.this happens at all levels and all sites there are a lot of players out there that are like that.

23 cents!!! this was the bodog freeroll, $1.75. I would never get upset over a measly 23 cents. And no, not much fun at all.
