I believe you tend to play more often on larger sites, where note taking is not that beneficial (unlikely to run into same players) but you can always hunt them down

Acutally had a good idea of how they played just from the first few levels (both were VP$IP over 50%), one had ROI -47% in SNG/STT, ~70games played, the other had played 3 SNG/STT roi-100%, 100 other SNG's w ROI-28%. (in other words, I knew they both sucked, lol).

I've got some sick volume of notes (7,543 KB). I run into quite a few of the same players (but obv not as many as i would on a smaller site).

If you play at the same time every day, it's amazing how many of the same players you see even on the largest sites. I'm not talking MTT's obviously. I didn't take notes at FTP at first thinking it was a waste, but I see the same players over and over so it does pay off.

Burtal bad downswing here lately.... last few days I don't think I've cashed in a single SNG (playing the 27's, 45's & some 90's.. but also some STT/SNG).
Not sure if I've gone out getting it in bad in any of them (maybe a couple when short & needing to shove).

Over & over... still just amazed at times.. "what are they thinking... are they even thinking?"

THis first one here.. I haven't played a hand in ~8orbits.. waiting for a spot but on a table with a few regs. and ALOT of fish (had previously doubled up when I got it in w 99 flopped a set, turned quads & won a big pot... but blinded down for awhile & couldn't find a spot.. til' this one that is....).

With a stack size I'd likely shove with most of my range & only raise with AA/KK/QQ.. I raise it up in EP & get 2 callers (one calling off 1/3 of his stack in eMP.. < what's he thinking? lol.. is he gonna fold if a LP player shoves?).
So.. he flats.. LP flats.. flop comes K98.. I shove ~POT 2k.. he snapcalls w MPMK... whoa.. nice callzzzzz

ANd of course the standard fare... lots of these.. can't seem to win getting it way ahead... over & over & over again... lol (just another example of how I've been running... not once or twice.. but every single time.. zero cashes in SNG's for 3 days... can't recall getting it in bad.. often in bubble spots.. me bein' bubble boy (although I did lose one on the very first hand.. I turned the Nutflush & managed to get it allin vs 2pr..he rivered the boat.. lol.. out very first hand.. love it!).

Obv short here... but wanting to ensure we get it allin... actually considering calling & shoving the flop to make it look like a stop'ngo... but just shove cuz he's calling no doubt.
I shove. he calls w 33..another 85/15... but.. he hits the 2-outer.. 'gg' me.

Another 90-plyr KO (the games that are so fishy you can make a killing in them.. 'you' maybe.. but not me, lol.. my record in 90plyr SNG's is prolly ROI-85%.. if not worse, lol....but.. thought I'd play a dozen of them.. just to see.... Yup.. they do play bad.. real bad (not this hand though).

Even though I only have 14bb's.. not the greatest & not into being the blind down guy (as I seem to be too often). I wake up with QQ in BB).
UTG shoves... I know he's shoving a wide range here... SB reshoves.. hmm.. what's his range.. prolly pretty wide as I've seen him get it in real bad, real often (have history with him)).
QQ good to go... will have a good stack to push for final table.... or not...

Newer players often ask, "what's a good game to play to build a bankroll?"
I'll often tell them, > play the $5-27plyr. SNG's.. there are soooo many bad players in them that it's humorous to pay (& with a small handful of regs. who really profit well in them).
Personally I have far better results in small field MTT's (this weekend I blanked every single SNG I played in but in MTT's I took a 1st in a priv. one on Carbon, a 3rd in a FUlltilt mtt, a 12th in a $33 mtt on Titan and a min cash in another Titan MTT).
I guess what I'm saying is... sure they 'can' be a good bankroll builder but be prepared to get it in good many times & take a donking... be prepared to take a downswing of 10-20+ games in succession (my worst previously was 21 STT/SNG with zero cashes... I'm coming close to that again now a few yrs. later, lol).
One of my accounts is a bit lower than I'd like it to be (not rolled for the games I'd prefer to be playing) and have been considering "what games should I play to build it up".. following my own advice I hit the 27's, 45's (& some STT/SNG).... all it did was drain the roll so I guess I'll have to opt out and continue griding small filed priv. mtt's to build it up again. OR.. maybe even run good? (I'd be actually happy to just run to expectation.. instead of like 80% below expectation).
