I have 10 10 cant't remmeber suits stack of 90k blinds 2/4k. I open the raising in highjack to 12k next player calls, sb folds bb raises all in to 20k. I reraise to 45k and dealer calls.< Question.. why are we re-raising here to 45k???? This is CLEARLY a spot to SHOVE!!! You're only leaving yourself aound a 1/4 pot sized bet for the flop?? You MUST SHOVE here once raised..... ALWAYS!! You're only ~22bb's deep.... get it in preflop.. every single time in this spot!!!!
flop comes 457 i check dealer checks.< Why are we 'checking' here? We only have like 33k left and pot now should be ~ what..126k.. We're NEVER FOLDING HERE EVER.... if you didn't get the money in preflop... GET IT IN NOW!!! "CHecking" here is terrible!! .,... turn is 2 check check. river is a 10... i hit my set and move all in. dealer calls and shows 63 off.... guy had 96k pre flop and im busted.
I have kjd and only 20 players left i have stack of 350k i raise pre flop to 30k blinds are 5/10k and im in late position with no raise behind and I have one caller. flop comes 89j and other guy checks, i move all in and after a long time guy calls to show 77. turn is k river 10 i bust out.< so you bet how much into a 80k pot 320k? Why such a HUGE overbet??
I have aces after about an hour into tourney and 6k stack with blinds 1/200. first to act goes all in and i call he shows 84 clubs. flop... you guessed it 884...< what game is this? I want to play it. I would think this is one where I would never want to be complaining... I mean if you've got idiots who'll get it in pre w chit like that?!?! AWESOME!!!
also had this happen with 10 5 off to me and yet again in another tounrey i have aces in late position, early position moves all in and shows 67d surprise suprise he hits a full on the turn with 673 on the flop...
I'm not a bitcher but I just cannot find an excuse for these plays no matter how much i think and no matter how I think of it. these people did not have me covered by more than 3k at any point and usually are 2-3 hours into the tourney... makes you wonder.
In the last week I've lost over half the times I've been 80% or more to win the hand even losing to runner runner 2% chances roughly 10 times. Had trips overtripped 8 times in two days, been constantly punished by turns and rivers where people are virtually drawing dead.
I wouldn't mind but no matter how hard I try I just cannot think of a reason why anybody would call some of these cards especially hours into a tourney and nowhere near deep stacked at times and with me making sure i put enough money in pots to keep the muck out.
Maybe put some HH's (hand histories) up... so we can check it out.
