Firday night poker --> Sng's are notorious for super fishy tables but in the micros ($5-$10) this can make the tables a real pain in the ass (way too many calling stations and lots of pots go multiway and just kinda suck imo). I predominantly play MTTs these days (sometimes SNG's) but hate playing in these on the weekends. So,.... for fun I'll multi-table some 2nl fullring... & try to have some fun! (ie. will 3bet really light & often & make some real donkey plays so I can get action on my big hands.... they'll stick around if you're showing down some real junk).
This hand comes around... 8d-5d... obviously opening for a raise in HJ. THis hand is way too good to pass up on.
So I raise 3x..and guy beside me in CO 'minraise' 3bets me to .10... I'm obviously calling... his raise-sizing sucks & it's now time to punish him for it, lol. (this guy's been trying to play aggressively, both pre & especially post flop).
I flop a flush draw... and check/call a 'min.bet'. I check the turn & he bets 'POT'... I'm actually considering folding here for a second but then again... what would be the point of playing this hand in the first place? Knowing I'll likely get paid in full if I do happen to hit the flush (good implied odds vs. this guy). I figure him for AK.... (making the milky minbet with TPTK on the flop).
River... diamond.... DING DING...now how to get the max?? I check... I know he'll bet.
He bets out puney .08 (~1/10th pot)... I shove and he snapcalls LOL... weeeeee.. he'd flopped top2pr.
