bad, bad beat!

Hi to all.
Yesterday i played this hand:


I was playng a 0.25-0.50 no limit table and was playng tight.
A guy at my right often raises, and even if on the flop he had nothing he goes all-in.
No one went to see her point, till i was dealt 88.
He raises 5$, i see.
Flop 8d 7d 2s. well, i've flopped a tris....
As usually he went all-in for 45$.
I had just 50$ and, even if i thought he can make a diamond flush, i went to see.
His cards: As 9s
Well, i thinked, at the end i've beated you.
Turn 10s
River Ks.
He made his flush!!!
I ost a lot of money in a impossible hand to loose after the flop and having seen his cards.

It's tough to beat stupidity sometimes, sometimes it makes u wonder if some poker sites don't reward horrible play. I've seen some terrible ones in my day. But I wish you better luck in the future! =)
