In low stakes mtts-90% of those ?players? will NEVER fold a pp. 22 calls with AKQ on flop just in case the river is a 2.

Even worse is the flush chasers, calling with any 2 suited cards, or shoving and praying for that runner runner flush.

I'm sure we all have horrible bad beat stories, losing with the best hands to some moron who just doesn't care about poker or his $1. Maybe being brought up on video games has made these ?players? action junkies. IMO online poker was much better 5 years ago.

I think Poker Stars is the absolute worst site when it comes to these kind of players. It,s no wonder we keep hearing so many Bad Beats from Poker Stars.I think maybe they see so many other players getting rewarded by playing garbage they try it on as well.

This is the reason I just won't deposit money onto any poker sites anymore. I tried a couple years ago, but to no avail. At the low stakes I want to play online, there is just no way that I know of to do anything but lose your money getting sucked out on all the time. I just figure I might as well set the money on fire, and save myself the trouble. Maybe I am just that bad of an online player... Peace.

As much as it can really suck, & we'll get badbeat a zillion times, it's these types of players in the micros who are paying you off. You want them on your tables (believe it or not). Sure it's horrible when you're sitting with 8 of them but having a couple/few of them on the tables is a REALLY GOOD THING (believe it!).

sidenote - 2nd hand there... really, really, really weird preflop bet-sizing of villain, (raising up half his stack?.. he's obviously NEVER folding postflop & if he does then he's worse than we might be anticipating).
Something I don't understand here with 'your' play preflop > why are you only flatting them here preflop when they've committed half of their stack? It's a clear shove here all day long (surely you're not planning on folding if you wiff the flop?). GET IT IN preflop here 100% of the time!!!!

as played (although as I already voiced it's 'wrong') you should be LOVING this play that villain/donk made here. YES it's extra frustrating when you've set your opponent up (basing it on what you've perceived their tendancies to be & exploiting them to the max) & then they fall into the shit pile (as planned) & come out with a huge fluke. We all know that these are particularly frustrating BUT on the flipside, we've done our job & it's all we can do. We simply must let the rest go!
Embrace variance & the badbeats & you'll probably come out ok.

Not sure why I didn't reraise it up right away, I tend to like people to carry on betting let them hang themselves sort of thing.
You're absolutely right with the donk issues if anything we need these people to be able to put ourselves in dominating situations in regards to stack sizes etc, pretty hard to get a decent player to commit their chips when way behind after all. I've stopped taking these things as anything but good for me, still annoying as hell when just outside of the money/ when there's a chance you'll be running deep.
