Out in a 500$ Freeroll

This is so sick!!!!!!
Im out of that FL holdem 500$ Tournament after 30 min.
had KK, i raise and raise he calls everything with 22 and hit a 2 on the River.
I got some chips left and ask him how could you call 2000 of chips to the river with 22 ?
And he said: Easy, when you play against a Fish.
In a 500$ Tournament with 246 Player !!!!!!!!!
I was shocked!

Limit games are much harder to push poor players off hands. The fact he called you fish tells you he either knows nothing or is trying to wind you up. You either give as good as you get in chat or say nothing. Me I say nothing except at 4KP games. I never show either.

Having said that 22 is not a bad hand if you have a read on a player. I've won several pots without hitting the trips.

You had KK so were unlucky but a lot of the time players play strong with AJ A10 etc even KQ QJ and any pair beats all of them if they don't hit on the flop. For example last night I called an allin in with 22 becuase of my reading of the player and because he had half my chip count, sure enough he showed AJ unfortuatly he hit the J on the river.

In a higher priced tourney I probally not called but in freerolls and micro's you have to be more creative.
