And "made the call".. how could he ever consider folding after he lead out for 'POT' 375chips & now with all the money in the hugely bloated pot.. he must call. For him to 'fold' in that spot would be horrendous!!
To me the shocking part isn't that they made the 'call'.. it's that they made the call 'preflop' out of position... & then even worse, 'lead out into the raiser'.. & then also bad.. bet "POT".. as they've committed themselves here. Would be interesting to hear their thought process behind it.... but am guessing it was more about mashing buttons (as it usually is when you see some betting 'POT' in tournament play). They would've been better off to check-raise allin then play it they way they chose to play it.
Sick beat there TF. Not to derail but I had a kinda sick one myself at the start of the game... & similiarly got villain to do just as I wanted them to... just didn't work out.
