Irrefutable, undeniable proof
Playing in a sit n go yesterday, only a dollar buyin as my luck hasn't been good and I wanted to get back to basics without worrying about losing a large portion of the dwindling bankroll I had left and hopefully build my confidence a little. So I'm playing tight, so tight that as we get to middle rounds, no one wants to touch me, I raise , they fold. I'm ok with this as I'm keeping my stack at an ok size (had a couple big hands early also that I just small value bet, which helped with my image also). Anyway, I'm rambling, I manage to build a decent stack to bubble, eventually make money with around 3000 chips (9 man s n g btw). SS is very tight, hasn't played much since bubble. Big stack is aggressive and has worked himself to around 5500 chips. Well, I get A A and let him commit, then double up. I now have over half the chips, he's down to around 2000, other guy has around 5000, I'm close to 8000. Couple hands later, he goes allin, I have A Q, just call, so does other guy. We check it down, turns out he has A 7, dominated, till 7 on river. I'm still big stack, I raise tight guys BB he pushes, I'm committed with K Q, he has K 4 (suited), dominated again, till he hits flush on river. I eventually get knocked out with A 7, against A 2. Twice I was big stack, had small stack dominated, and lost,
