QQ just Sucks

My hate-hate relationship with QQ continues. So I'm going to start posting my lost tourneys with QQ to try and change my luck.

Went out of the 4k carbon game with QQ vs AK, went out of the PS Sunday Storm with QQ vs AK, and today out of PS 10K Guarantee with QQ vs AK.

Apparently the only way I was in ITM in the last 2 was due to the fact that I never had QQ until after the bubble.

I got taken out the other day with Q-Q vs. A-K. They always get either the ace or the king it seems. I flop lots of sets with Q-Q also. So all in all, I am happy to see Q-Q. J-J on the other hand, is the grim reaper of poker.

Im really considering throwing away every big pair and only playing crap cuz that is all that seems to win on Full Tilt Poker lol. i lose 8 out of 10 hands when i get a big pair and its always to some off the wall hand.

The other day, $1.00 + $0.20 single table SNG. First hand I was dealt, was A-A. I was in LP, I reraised the opener. Action gets back around to the raiser, he reraises again. I reraise all in, he calls, along with a guy to my left (he calls also). We are 3 going to the flop. The EP raiser has J-J, and didn't hesitate to push all in to 2 reraises from me. He flops a set of jacks. My SNG ended in one hand. J-J. He had to know he was up against a bigger PP, but he would not just call, he just kept raising me.

In hindsight, I should have just called. But I think it would have still ended up the same. Also in hindsight, this looks like an inexperienced poker player, to raise that much and insta-call all in with J-J on the first hand. I would have just called the reraise if I were him (not that I am an expert mind you, but I do know my way on a poker table). I think it was a donkey kong move, thinking that the grim reaper of poker (J-J) was good against two reraises. I believe you should always reraise with A-A to an agressive opponent. But, it sure didn't work out that time. This was on fulltilt. And the third player involved in the hand had like K-Qs or something. I think that's what he had, K-Qs. On the first hand, he calls two all-ins with K-Qs. LOL. He lost, same as me. I don't know how he expected to win with those cards, but he tried.

I think it was a bad move what villain did with his J-J. And he just flops a 2 outer against me, rewarding him for his play. What do you guys think?

I also think I could have held back a little, considering it was the first hand. Why get too involved so early? I honestly thought I was up against K-K ~ 10-10. I was right. I was unlucky as well.

I wasn't super upset about it, a little irritated. I would like to know what PO and Assistanc3 have to say about this... Advice?

Well haven't lost with QQ since I started this thread---BUT it's because I haven't had QQ.

Just after I posted the above post got QQ twice heads up, first one crippled me, fought back and then actually won with QQ.

(guess this thread changed my luck.)
