Was playing in a tournament the other day and was dealt pocket Queens and when the flop came out it was Q K K didnt think much of it and went all in. There were no suited cards out there. Someone else called me and beat me with K Q I was steamed.

thats an unlucky beat - always seems to be more of a danger when its 10's & pictures on the board - I've had similar sort of thing happen to me a few times

It's like when you do it all right with AK and narrow down to one caller - flop comes A rag rag
and you fire at it big they call and turn over AA

I think it's better to try and pick up the orphan hands that no-one likes the look of - anything with more than one 10, J, Q, K, A gets me thinking of problems

You did right to bet you made hand - just unlucky the other guy had better
