Why does Pokerstars not like me

Just a bit of background, This was a Turbo Fifty50 the table was very tight after the first couple had gone out. Only decent hand I had so far was QQ.

My chips where going down fast to the antes. BB and SB were relatively tight and the table had been folding to raises for the last few hands. J 10 suited UTG wasn't ideal but if the blinds hit me I would have had no fold equity left so I took a punt. Couldn't believe flopping a straight against trips until I was hit by a very nasty turn card Pokerstars really doesn't like me at the minute.

But DAMN that is a real harsh hand, but it couldnt of happen to a nicer guy LOL.
just joking with ya, I guess better to get it in pf than actually have the straight push and lose.

Maybe stonedude will explain to you the ins and out of why the that queen fell on the turn in a very systematic fahion

Wow, just really UL there mate! Two desperation moves there by each player and noway SB was laying down Qs. Not a bad jam there at all just got UL.

Months (or so it seems) of this type of hand put me on a constant low level rolling tilt

I decided to take a break from playing nearly 2 weeks ago, which for someone who was playing around 6 hours a day is a big thing. I'm not sure where I'm going with poker at the moment, but I'm certainly not going to put any money at risk.

I did play a freeroll tonight to see if my attitude at the table had improved and it was OK I didn't lose my cool with anyone and played a good tight game and won through to the next round of the PokerStars Mega Path to the 10th anniversary $10M prize pool game.

Baby steps, maybe I'll get my love of poker back or maybe I'll cry enough and take up another hobby.

Don't give up mate! This is poker and it comes with ups and downs but they are what you make it. Just learn from ur mishaps and keep grinding. Bad beats are going to happen and so is getting unlucky but at the end of the day if you continue to play good soild poker u will began to get an edge. I'm reading a great poker book now that talks about what u are feeling right now. (Not sure if I can post the title and author here) Taking a break is not bad but come back strong cont. to study the game an strive to improve ur game and it will come. GL
