the worst bad beats ever. one right after another. i'm a bad beat magnet on that site. can barely tolerate it anymore. i hate poker.com for that reason alone. no other place beats me that bad continually.

I know what you mean about some sites seeming to have more bad beats than other but I've never been convinced with the rigged arguement

which leaves the "style" type of players at a table - and the fact that generally sites seem to attract similar sorts of players

The fundamental thing to always think about is the juicy easy to win games & sites are esy to win sites ... because they have mostly bad / below average players

and because they're bad they're are going to generate more bad beats - simple as that

but if your playing it right - and not inviting more badbeat potential you will win out

if they were a 97% underdog and won your should win the other 97 times out of 100 with same cards

If you play at tighter sites with better players - you might see alot less bad beats but man are you going to need to be a better player

Personally I would take the badbeats playing with muppets that will pay off your nuts hands and better play than sit at a game where I'm simply out classed

that said out playing a good player is the best feeling in the world

but in terms of profitable play even Doyle / Negreanu, any pro would choose to sit down at a drunken table of gamblers - milk it dry and take the odd bad beat with a smile

The most important thing IMHO is to be 110% sure of your own game - check your not leaving holes which justify some long shot calls

muppets and good players look similar in this respect - if even with a big bet your giving correct pot odds to call on a draw - then you need to be closing the hand down and taking the pot before the river etc

good players now in holdem are much more aggressive and also more speculative - NL is a game of implied odds - more than pot odds even
