Yesterday, i was in a freeroll. Okay, it was JUST a freeroll, but thats not the point..

My Hand, KK. My stack is 4200 and am chiplead on the table with another guy who has 4500.

Yes, Pre-flop I bet 800 and that guy calls.

The flop comes QQK.

And i have just pick up the full house. I bet for 1200. And he calls.

Turn Q

I bet 1500, he calls.

The funny thing right now is.. I think you all already know what comes on the

River Q. I go all in, not thinking of the 4 of a kind on the board.. he calls and shows AK, He wins with the A kicker.. I thougt i was going to cry.. :P

Yes it is. But you should go allin on flop. Then he won`t call I think.

i agree allin on the flop - no question

I don't know what the blinds were (I'm guessing if you had chip lead with 4500 ish the blinds were low sub 200)

but you've put in 1/5 of your chips preflop and he calls - so almost certainly he has a premium hand AA, KK, QQ maybe JJ, AK

so you've made a FH but there is every possibility he has hit with QQ

simple you have a very good hand but you are almost certainly up against some dangerous possibilities - betting 1/2 the pot as a slow play thinking you have the nuts is dangerous

with AK (2 pair top kicker) he is likely to call anything less than a pot size bet

if you'd gone allin you would have won the pot - fearing only QQ

but you cant slow play hands like that - if you'd made it with 99 in your hand

9K9 flop then fair enough slow play would be good play
