this was a bad one

i was in a tourny with 700 people top prize was $14,000! i made the final table and was 3rd in chip lead and only down 22,000 to the leader. i got pocket kings i bet 40,000 the leader is the only one to call. at that pont there were only 6 of us left. flop comes AAK! i go all in leader calls. if i win i take a HUGE lead in chips over all 5 remaning players. he calls he has AK. he beats my K full of aces! what was the chances he had the last king! anyway i got knocked out in 6th and took the horible prize of $975. worst hand i ever played it still bothers me cause i was that close to the $14,000!!!!!!!!

I know that what I am going to say may sound a bit strange, but you don't have to be angry about your loss! You did what anybody would do in that situation! Your cards were great, you should have played them the same way you did, you have been out of luck, that's all! Don't worry about that so much! Greetings!

I agree - you didnt nothing wrong there - it was the only possible hand + AA that could have you beat so was a good opportunity to double up / take out a player

It happens ... thats poker ... but the important thing with all crucuial hands is to check back hands and be sure you played it right for how it was at the time

think Mike Sexton on the vid on 4kingpoker hits nail on the head - poker is not about winning - it's about making the right moves / plays and not making the wrong ones

Anyway $900 is better than a poke in the eye - just frustrating you got so close and got taken out with some bad luck
