What are some good ways of getting information by talking?

Do you guys use any special questions or comments that will give you information on where your opponents is at. For example when you're involved in a big hand (you have to call a big bet or an all in)

I will ask how much the person has left while at the same time counting out my chips and glancing at him as I’m doing it to see his reaction or what he says,listen to his voice, watch the eyes. I mainly need this for when my opponent is bluffing because I can usually tell strength by betting patterns but I can't spot weakness.

as i am the button and there are 2 K in in the flop, i have the K everybody cheks, with a big bot , everybody with an ace reraised preflop, i bet twice the pot and say just to see whos chasing and it works lol
