Just now I was very short-stacked in a tourny so I went all in preflop with A4. I get called by QQ. The flop was K 5 Q. 3 on the turn. 2 on the river completing my runner-runner straight.

I think - as much as the other guy probably moaned - when your short stacked you have to do what you have to do

and ace rag looks alot more playable in that situation than with a middling stack

personally I would rather go in with Ace 4 than ace 6 or 7 as at least you have a chance to hit that straight

sometimes if its right on the bubble for the money it's worth folding even on the blinds to go another round - if you pick something up then you play - if not you hope another couple of players go for it and go out

but I think you did the right thing in that position

where u see there a BAD beat just simple luck that sometimes happen, a lot of situations i was played when I have 2 pairs against 1 pair, and on table comes other highest pair and I loose against opponent high A ...
