I've seen plenty of people claim to be the recipient of a bad beat, yet their hand wasn't too strong in the first place (i.e., they make a small pair on the flop with after betting with pocket cards that had no business being played at all against an opponent with AK, AQ, etc. who ends up winning). So what constitutes a bad beat?
