Trip kings shut down

I was playing in a $4k guarantee, final table $24 + 6 and had K5 in the BB. SB calls i check. Flop is KK9. I bet 3 times blind and SB moves all in, I call. He turns over Q9 for a pair of 9's. I felt REALLY good seeing that as he needed either running 9's for quads or a jack and a 10. Of course the jack and the 10 came and I was now short stack. Ended up getting 5th, but I could have gotten top 3 if i hadnt been beaten here i think. I guess theres not really any other choice here, I shouldnt have folded should i?

No i dont think you should of folded, i would of called that for sure too.. sometimes just crazy cards seem to come up and it usually ends up me being the one that gets screwed
